England forward Jarrod Bowen has signed a new contract with West Ham, says Hammers boss David Moyes.

The 26-year-old, who joined from Hull City for £18m on a five-year deal in 2020, had reportedly been a target for Liverpool and Newcastle.

He scored 45 goals in 166 games for West Ham, including the winner in the Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina in June.

“Jarrod has signed a new deal, which is great news for us,” said Moyes.

“He’s done amazing since he’s been here. He continues to improve.

“If you think of his own development as an individual, he started off at Hereford, moved to Hull and now in the Premier League and getting a chance to be in the England squad. I think he’ll get better as well.”

Bowen has scored five times in nine outings this season, earning a recall to the England squad for games against Australia and Italy in October.
