Some listeners and viewers, moved by a Citi News report on the safe delivery of the quadruplets and the subsequent plea by medical professionals for support for the unemployed mother, sent in donations.

Citi News’ Neil Nii Amatey Kanarku, presented the cash amount to the mother, who is still admitted at the Eastern Regional Hospital in Koforidua.

Dr. Joseline Assibey and Dr. Francis Mensah Akwetey, both paediatricians at the hospital, commended the management, listeners, and viewers of Citi FM and Citi TV for the kind gesture. They appealed to corporate Ghana and benevolent individuals to extend a helping hand to nursing mothers currently admitted at the hospital.
