Prophet Roja, leader of Roja City International Ministry, has stirred controversy with strong remarks he made during an appearance on Onua TV’s Maakye show hosted by Captain Smart.
Speaking during the program, Prophet Roja stated, “I know you are watching me, and you will write nonsense, but I will say it, and people will insult me, but I don’t care.” He went on to caution the public against certain religious teachings, saying, “Do not allow your pastor to deceive you by saying you have to give all to God and you will receive your reward in heaven while your pastor is building estates.”
Roja Criticizes
He further criticized what he described as contradictions in the conduct of some religious leaders, adding that “your pastor will tell you the world is coming to an end but build estates and send his children to school abroad.”
Emphasizing his point with a vivid expression, he remarked, “If the earth melts like sheared butter, we will rub it on our skin,” and stressed, “We are very serious, ooh.”
Prophet Roja also spoke about his personal beliefs and approach to spirituality, saying, “I believe in everything; I’m a spiritual person.” He clarified his stance on religious practices by adding, “I am not a Roman Father to use a razor to pray; I do what I believe, and if you don’t believe what I do, don’t come to me.”
His comments have since sparked reactions among viewers, with many debating his views on religious leadership and spiritual practices.
