In a press release issued earlier today, the Electoral Commission (EC) says the 2023 Voters Registration Exercise will not be extended.
The exercise which began on the 12th of September, 2023, has officially endef at 5pm today, Monday, the 2nd of October, 2023.
This announcement was expected to result in a last-minute rush by eligible voters who are yet to register.
There are fears that some eligible might have not been captured.
However, the Commission has assured the General Public that arrangements have been made to cater for such individuals.
In the statement, the Commission confirmed that only eligible applicants who were in the queue on or before 5pm today, Monday, the 2nd of October, 2023, will be registered tomorrow, Tuesday, the 3rd of October, 2023.
The Commission emphasized that this offer is only extended to individuals who are yet to register and are in the queue before 5pm; it does not cover those who come after the stipulated time.
The Electoral Commission also used the opportunity to thank the General Public for their cooperation and support in making the 21-day Voters Registration Exercise a success.
The statement was signed by Michael Boadu, Ag. Head of Public Affairs of the EC.
As we inch closer to the 2024 General Elections, it is imperative that eligible citizens who are yet to register take advantage of the remaining hours to get their voters’ ID cards.
The Electoral Commission has made it clear that there will be no further extension of the exercise.

A piece that did not lecture even when it had clear positions, and a look at sagebazaar maintained the same teaching without preaching tone, finding the line between informing and lecturing is hard and most sites land on the wrong side of it but this one has clearly figured out how to inform without becoming preachy.
Been playing at Revery Play for about two months now and figured I’d drop my thoughts on this. I registered one evening out of boredom — minimum deposit was just ten quid which wasn’t bad, threw in ?50 to start and they matched with a 100% welcome bonus up to 500 quid and 200 free spins. Wagering is 40x which is pretty standard but I’ve seen way worse.
Game selection actually surprised me — there’s somewhere around 2500 games from devs like Pragmatic Play, Microgaming and Yggdrasil. Spent most of my time on Gates of Olympus a lot — hit a decent 400x on Gates last week actually. The live dealer stuff runs on Evolution — Lightning Roulette is always packed, proper dealers streaming in HD.
The bit that sold me on Revery Play is the cashout speed. My go-to is Skrill and the payout came through within about 18 hours. There’s also Mastercard plus various e-wallets for those who prefer it. I’d browse what’s available over at revery play to see for yourself.
Now, there are a couple of gripes. Customer support at Revery Play can be a bit slow — was sitting there a good while for live chat one evening. Also the mobile version is decent enough but some menus are fiddly compared to other sites I use. There’s no app as such, you just use the mobile browser.
Overall though, I’m still playing there which says enough really. The site is licensed and seems legit. For UK players this is a solid shout — only be patient with the support response times.
