Turkey referee punched: Reaction after club president attacks Halil Umut Meler
Reaction after MKE Ankaragucu president Faruk Koca ran onto the pitch and struck match official Halil Umut Meler in the face after a 97th-minute equalizer in a 1-1 draw with Caykur Rizespor on Monday night.
Koca has since been arrested, resigned as club president and apologized for his behavior.
