It was one of those evenings for Harry Kane. The Englishman has been outstanding since moving to Germany but he wasn’t able to get on the scoresheet on Tuesday night as Bayern Munich survived an early scare to beat FC Copenhagen 2-1 in their second Champions League game of the season.
Following a nip and tuck affair with Manchester United in their opening Group A fixture, the Bavarian giants had to dig deep once again to see off the gutsy Danes.
The first half produced little excitement with neither side managing to break the deadlock but ten minutes into the second stanza FC Copenhagen took the lead courtesy of tidy brace from midfielder Lukas Lerager.
Bayern responded quickly with Jamal Musiala wriggling free of his man to rifle the ball into the back of the net from the edge of the box 12 minutes later.
