Ghana will play away from home against Guinea Bissau in the first leg of the first round of qualifiers looking to start their qualifying journey on a strong note.

The game is scheduled for Sunday, October 8, with Yussif Basigi’s side leaving the shores of Ghana on Friday.

The head coach named a 23-woman squad for the game over the weekend which includes some members of the team that won the 2023 WAFU B Girls Cup in Kumasi earlier this year.

Maafia Nyame and Stella Nyamekye, who were part of the winning team have been excused from the squad while Success Ameyaa continues her time with the U-20s.
