Supreme Court’s hearing of lawsuits against anti-LGBTQ bill

The Supreme Court has begun proceedings on two lawsuits filed by Broadcast Journalist Richard Dela Sky and Researcher Dr. Amanda Odoi, contesting the passage of the LGBTQ+ Bill by Parliament.

These contentious lawsuits have effectively halted the Bill’s progress, preventing it from being forwarded from Parliament to the Presidency for potential approval by President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.
