I would like to render an unqualified apology to Ghanaians for my mistake -Osman Bukari

The Black Stars of Ghana took part in the AFCON 2023 in the Ivory Coast a disgraced the nation Ghana by conceding unnecessary goals in all three games played in the group stage, losing one to Cape Verde and drawing the two matches to Egypt and Mozambique. In both two matches, Ghana drew, and Ghana took the lead to secure the three points a few minutes to end the game they conceded to lose the three points for a point. In the last game, Ghana played Mozambique leading by two goals in the 80th minute, the comeback worked for Mozambique to equalize. In the game between Ghana and Egypt, the two goals Ghana conceded were mistakenly caused by Inaki Williams’s back pass and Osman Bukari unfortunately sent the ball back to Ghana’s box area to allow the Egyptians to equalize.

After the unfortunate incidents that stopped Ghana from going round 16 Osman Bukari has come out to apologize to Ghanaians and his fans on Twitter (X) saying, “It has taken me several days to gather the words to address you our dear fans, because of the embarrassment we brought on the nation & the fact that we let you down and our inability to advance to the next stage has hit heavily on me, for I contributed a part in it.
